JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead Framers are responsible for completing residential carpentry projects. Lead Framers are responsible for directing one or more team members with different levels of experience. Additional responsibilities include; reading plans, ordering materials, meeting inspectors, and communicating with homeowners and project managers.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
5+ Years of framing experience
3+ Years of experience installing millwork and trim
2+ Years of experience with concrete, foundations, and excavation
1+ Years managing a framing crew
Mastery of framing with verifiable ability to; frame roofs, cut stairs and layout walls
Verifiable ability to install high-end millwork, doors and trim
Install appliances and finish accessories
Ability to teach team members
Willingness to perform handyman-type jobs
Willingness to keep jobs clean
Work as a team lead
Good listening skills
Use personal smartphone to clock in and out
Reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided)
Pass drug test
Pass background check
Great attitude
Must understand all phases and processes of residential construction
Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs
Must understand math functions and calculations involving fractions.
Must have plenty of energy and be willing to work hard
Ability to motivate your team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical strength: The ability to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 75 pounds
Stamina: The ability to exert yourself physically for 8 hours per day
Flexibility: Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, bending, reaching, and balancing

OPERATING COMPANY EQUIPMENT
Motor Vehicle Record check required to operate a company vehicle
Safely use all sorts of power tools used for the construction trades
Follow guidelines from the company regarding use, treatment and sign in/sign out

REPRESENTING HIGHLAND RIDGE
Ability to responsibly represent Highland Ridge during interaction with our customers, sub-contractors and government inspectors.
Ability to understand customers concerns and needs in a residential remodel

MANAGEMENT OF THE WORK
Ability to source materials and or information at trade-specific suppliers
Ability to direct others on a job site
Ability to accurately gauge timelines and provide feedback on such

SKILLS WELCOME
Understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sheetrock, painting, tile, ect
Experience towing trailers and equipment
